This one was done early, early in the morning, with challenging light conditions coming over the berm and trees.
I did choose to use a timer: 8.68 seconds from the tone to the shot. And the results:
I think I want to try to get this down to around five seconds, and then go from there. Yes, I forgot to take the safety off. But I did everything else in a way that wasn’t terrible, and improved on some things from last time.
Why five seconds? I think it’s achievable, but not the ultimate. Seven shots left in the 20 shot cold bore experiment, #13 today.
