I didn’t go for any specific first shot time, mainly wanted to focus on getting everything in the black with a consistent shot cadence. First round was at 3.40 seconds, total time was 7.15. Splits were all in the low .40s and high .30s.
Dot was held at the top of the bull to account for the mechanical offset at 10 yards.
Remember, goal for this at 10 yards is all 10 shots in the black, from the low ready in 2.50 seconds or less.
Score: 10/10 in the black.
What I did right: Kept a very consistent cadence on the trigger.
What I did wrong: Took too much time to fire the first round.
What I want to focus on next time: Dropping to an average of .30 splits, with a shorter first shot time.
