Long story short: I think pressing with the thumbs is a big part of shooting good groups. Especially with the strong hand thumb, which is something I may have been neglecting. It makes sense, I suppose. Thumbs are what help us hold on to things.
This group was actually fired on Friday, but I just didn’t get around to posting it until now. No shooting today, a terrific thunderstorm rolled through this morning. The rest of the 50 rounds were used practicing draws to an index card at 10 yards, average in the 2.xx second time. Mostly hits.
I may need to nudge the sight back over again. We’ll see this week.
