Ok, this was actually shot on Monday, but I didn’t get around to posting it. Then I didn’t shoot yesterday and today, because of some reasons. All that means is that tomorrow is going to be a rare 150 round day. And that will be fun.

So obviously, the gun pictured above is not a Glock. I wanted to see what a metal-framed gun with a light single-action trigger would do at 25 yards for me, so I borrowed a Beretta M9. As you can see, it’s not exactly a group… but it’s not horrible either, for a gun I haven’t shot in years.

The rest of the day’s 50 rounds were spent on dots and index cards with the Beretta, from 5 yards to 15 yards. I was expecting the gun to track differently, and it does, but it’s nothing obviously better or worse than the Glock. I suppose if I put a few cases of Lawman through the gun, it might be different. But I’m not going to do that.

Case of Lawman #5 this year arrived today, so we’re good for posting at least another month or so, 50 rounds per day. Will I finally break the “10 in the black at 25”? We shall see.
