No post yesterday, was rained out. Today’s 10 shot group at 25 yards was a good one, with only two outside the black. It was heavily overcast, so I may or may not need to come up a click or so on the sights. Probably wouldn’t hurt, but I’ll keep going for a few days before clicking.
Attempted some faster drills at 5 and 7 yards, but was frustrated with a few more failures to eject. I’ll try some extra lubricant and see if it helps, right now it’s pretty dry. I guess I’m not used to ignoring maintenance like with the Glock…
I did attempt some shots at 15 yards on 2″ dots, and made about 50% hits. Everything must be done perfectly.
I might cheat and shoot a 10 round group at 25 with the G19 before I hit the thousand round mark with the 22/45. I really do feel like the rimfire gun has made me more aware of things like my grip tension and trigger press, and want to see if it’s helped or hurt with the Glock.
Wouldn’t it be awesome if it helped?
