ruger 22/45 25 yards

Yes, that’s 10 rounds. Counted carefully, and they’re all there. Some are just really close together.

American Eagle 40 grain .22 LR ammunition is not consistent, at least in the 250 rounds or so that I’ve fired. There is an obvious level of variation in the recoil and muzzle blast from shot to shot. Most of the time it’s the same, but perhaps two to five rounds per box of 50 have been noticeably weak.

Buying 5,000 rounds without trying it first probably wasn’t the wisest course of action. Of course, it obviously shoots well out of my MKIII at 25 yards. So perhaps I can’t complain too much.

No shooting yesterday because of rain. There may be more rain tomorrow.
